Sigrid Annamaria Bernson, born on December 28, 1988, is a talented Swedish singer and professional dancer. She became well-known for her amazing dance moves on the TV show Let's Dance. Later, she also started a career as a singer, releasing her own songs.
Dancing Career
Sigrid began her journey in 2011 as a professional dancer on the popular Swedish TV show Let's Dance. This show pairs celebrities with professional dancers to compete. Sigrid was very successful, winning the competition twice! She won the seventh season in 2012 with her dance partner Anton Hysén. Two years later, in 2014, she won again in the ninth season with Benjamin Ingrosso.
Singing Career
In 2015, Sigrid Bernson started her singing career. She was featured as a guest singer on the song "Happy Hours" by John de Sohn. In 2017, she performed her very first solo song, "This Summer," on the TV show Lotta på Liseberg.
Melodifestivalen
Sigrid took part in Melodifestivalen 2018, which is a big music competition in Sweden. The winner of Melodifestivalen gets to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest. Sigrid performed her song "Patrick Swayze" in the competition. She made it to the "Andra Chansen" (Second Chance) round from her semi-final. However, she was later eliminated by DJ Mendez and his song "Everyday."
