Rahkeim Calief Meyer (born February 11, 1978), known by his stage name Roc Marciano, is an American rapper and music producer. He is famous for his clever rhymes and detailed stories in his songs. He often uses unique "drumless" beats, which means his music doesn't always have traditional drum sounds.
Many people call him the "Godfather of the Underground." This is because he helped bring back a raw, lyrical style of rap in the early 2010s. His first album, Marcberg (released in 2010), was very important. It influenced many other artists in the music world.
Marciano has released ten studio albums. He has also put out many mixtapes and EPs. He produces most of his own music. Some albums, like Kaos (2018) and The Elephant Man's Bones (2022), were produced by others. He often works with artists like DJ Muggs and The Alchemist. He also produces music for other artists.
