This community sits on a piece of land that sticks out into the water. This land is called a peninsula. It extends north from the city of Bremerton. The peninsula ends at a spot also called Rocky Point.
The area is surrounded by water in several places:
- To the east, you'll find the Port Washington Narrows and Phinney Bay.
- To the west, there's Mud Bay. This bay separates Rocky Point from another peninsula nearby.
