Roger Perry (born May 7, 1933 – died July 12, 2018) was an American actor. He was known for his many roles in movies and TV shows. His acting career started in the late 1950s. Before becoming an actor, he served in the United States Air Force. He worked as an intelligence officer in the early 1950s.
Roger Perry's Acting Career
Television Roles
Roger Perry appeared in many popular television shows. From 1960 to 1961, he played Jim Harrigan, Jr. in the show Harrigan and Son. In this series, Pat O'Brien played his father.
Perry was a guest star on many American TV shows. He appeared from the 1950s all the way through the 1980s. His first TV role was in 1958. He played Ted Jarvis in an episode of U.S. Marshal.
In 1960, he appeared in The Texan. He acted alongside James Coburn and John Dehner. From 1963 to 1964, he co-starred in Arrest and Trial. In this show, he played Detective Sergeant Dan Kirby.
Roger Perry also appeared in a famous episode of Star Trek. In the 1967 episode "Tomorrow Is Yesterday", he played a U.S. Air Force pilot. He had a recurring role as headmaster Charles Parker on The Facts of Life.

Movie Roles
Roger Perry also starred in several movies. He was in two horror films about a vampire named Count Yorga. In Count Yorga, Vampire (1970), he played Dr. James Hayes. This character tried to figure out who Yorga really was.
Perry returned in the sequel, The Return of Count Yorga (1971). In this movie, he played a different main character, Professor David Baldwin. He also acted with Ray Milland and Rosey Grier in the movie The Thing with Two Heads. He played Dr. Philip Desmond in this film.
Personal Life
Roger Perry was married three times. He had two children, Christopher and Dana, with his first wife, Patricia Perry.
He later married actress and comedian Jo Anne Worley in 1975. They were married for 25 years. He then married actress Joyce Bulifant. In 2014, Roger Perry and Joyce Bulifant received a special honor. They were given a Golden Palm Star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars in Palm Springs, California. Roger Perry had one grandchild, Parker McNerney.
Roger Perry passed away on July 12, 2018. He was 85 years old. He died at his home in Indian Wells, California.
