Rolandz is a popular music group from Sweden. They play a type of music called dansband music, which is often played for dancing. The group started in 2008.
The main person in Rolandz is a funny character named Roland Järverup. A famous Swedish comedian, Robert Gustafsson, created and plays this character. Robert Gustafsson first played Roland Järverup in a movie called Screwed in Tallinn in 1999. Later, he had the idea to make a whole music group around this character, and that's how Rolandz was born!
How Rolandz Started
Rolandz first became well-known in 2008. This happened when they appeared during a break on a TV show called Dansbandskampen. This show was a competition for dansband groups. Their performance was a big hit!
In 2009, the band also performed on a very popular Swedish TV show. This show is called Allsång på Skansen. They appeared on the show on July 7, 2009.
