Rolf Feltscher's Club Career
Rolf Feltscher has played for many different football clubs throughout his career. He started playing professionally when he was very young.
Starting with Grasshoppers
Rolf began his professional journey at Grasshoppers in Switzerland. He was only 16 years old when he played his first league game. This was in the 2007–08 season. He played the whole game as a right back. He was also an important player for Switzerland's Under-17 team. He played in all three matches during the qualifying rounds for the 2007 UEFA U-17 Championship.
Playing in Italy: Parma and Loans
In 2009, Rolf signed a deal to join Parma, an Italian club. He moved there after the season ended. He played for Parma's youth team, called primavera. He also played a few games for Parma's main team. In 2012, he went on loan to Padova. Later that year, he was loaned to Grosseto.
Moving to Germany: Duisburg
Rolf joined MSV Duisburg in Germany for the 2014–15 season. He played there for two years.
Playing in Spain: Getafe and Zaragoza
In 2016, Rolf signed a two-year contract with Getafe CF in Spain. He did not play very often for Getafe. So, he was loaned to another Spanish team, Real Zaragoza, in January 2017.
Time in England: Cardiff City
In September 2017, Rolf tried out for EFL Championship team Birmingham City. He was told he might get a permanent deal. However, the manager left, and Rolf was allowed to leave. Later, he tried out for Cardiff City. He signed a short contract with them in November 2017. He was a substitute in two games but did not play in a match.
Playing in the USA: LA Galaxy
On December 19, 2017, Rolf signed with Major League Soccer team LA Galaxy in the United States. He started seven games in 2018. But then he broke his shoulder and was out for four months. LA Galaxy released him at the end of 2018. However, they signed him again in January 2019.
Back to Germany: Würzburger Kickers and Duisburg Again
In December 2020, Rolf went back to Germany. He joined 2. Bundesliga team Würzburger Kickers. In June 2021, he signed with MSV Duisburg for the second time in his career. He has been playing for Duisburg since then.

Rolf has a family connection to football. His older brother is Frank Feltscher, who is also a professional footballer. He also has an elder step-brother named Mattia Desole.
