Romulus is a small community called a hamlet in Seneca County, New York. It is located right next to the Town of Varick. In 2010, about 409 people lived there.
This hamlet was first known as "Romulusville." Around the year 1870, its name was shortened to Romulus. This new name came from the larger town it is part of.
