Ronald Irvin Christie (born August 7, 1969) is an American expert in government relations and a Republican political strategist. He has worked for important leaders like former Vice President Dick Cheney. Ron Christie has written books and often appears on TV news shows. Ron Christie grew up in Palo Alto, California. He went to Palo Alto Senior High School. After high school, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Haverford College. Later, he received a law degree (Juris Doctor) from the George Washington University National Law Center.

Starting in Politics
Ron Christie began his career as an intern for Congressman Tom Campbell. He then worked as a legal advisor for Senator George Allen. He also served as a senior advisor to John Kasich, who was a chairman of the House Budget Committee and later became a governor.
Working at the White House
In 2001, Ron Christie started working at the White House. He was a deputy assistant to Vice President Dick Cheney. In this role, he advised the Vice President on important topics like healthcare and the national budget. From 2002 to 2004, Christie worked directly for President George W. Bush. He was a Special Assistant to the President.
