Ronald F. Pinkard (born January 22, 1941) is an American actor. He is widely known for his role as Dr. Mike Morton. This character appeared in the popular television series Emergency!, which was produced by Jack Webb.

Early Life and Education
Ron Pinkard grew up in Denver, Colorado. He attended Whittier Elementary School and Manual High School. After finishing high school, he joined the Navy. He served for four years as a Hospital Corpsman. This means he helped care for sick and injured people. Later, he decided to study acting. He went to the University of Colorado Boulder to learn about drama.
