Ron Wilson is an American comics artist. He is famous for drawing comic books about the Marvel Comics character The Thing. You might know The Thing from the Fantastic Four. Ron Wilson worked on comics like Marvel Two-in-One and The Thing.
He spent eleven years, from 1975 to 1986, drawing The Thing's exciting adventures. Ron also helped create the Wolfpack characters with writer Larry Hama.

Early Life of Ron Wilson
Ron Wilson was born in Brooklyn, New York. He grew up in a neighborhood called Canarsie.
Ron Wilson's Comic Book Career
Ron Wilson started working in the comic book world in the early 1970s. He joined Marvel Comics, a very famous comic book company. At Marvel, he drew both the covers and the inside pages of many comics.
From 1975 to 1978, and again from 1980 to 1983, he was the main artist for Marvel Two-in-One. This comic often featured The Thing teaming up with other Marvel heroes. Ron also worked on other popular titles. These included Black Goliath, Power Man, The Hulk!, and Captain Britain.
Working on The Thing's Solo Adventures
In the 1980s, the Marvel Two-in-One comic series ended. After that, Ron Wilson teamed up with writer John Byrne. They worked together on a new comic series called The Thing, which ran from 1983 to 1986.
In 1983, Ron Wilson also helped create and draw a story called "Super Boxers". This story appeared in Marvel Graphic Novel #8.
Other Notable Comic Projects
Ron Wilson drew every issue of Marvel's Masters of the Universe comics. This series was based on the popular toys and cartoons. He also drew the Wolfpack comic series.
His artwork also appeared in many other well-known comics. These include The Avengers, Captain America, Deadly Hands of Kung Fu, and What If.
Later Work in Comics
In 1990, Ron Wilson drew an issue of Urth 4 for a company called Continuity Comics. He then returned to Marvel Comics. There, he drew WCW World Championship Wrestling comics from 1992 to 1993.
His art was also regularly featured in Marvel Comics Presents from 1992 to 1994. Ron Wilson also worked with DC Comics for their Milestone Media imprint. He helped design characters and drew an issue of Icon. He also worked on the DC mini-series Arion the Immortal.
In 2008, he drew a cover for a wrestling-themed comic series called Headlocked. As of 2012, Ron Wilson was working on his own new project called Battle Rappers.
