Rosa Guraieb facts for kids
Rosa Guraieb Kuri (born May 20, 1931 – died March 2, 2014) was a famous Mexican musician. She was a brilliant pianist, a dedicated music teacher, and a creative composer. Rosa Guraieb had family roots from Lebanon. She was born in Matías Romero, Oaxaca, Mexico.
Early Life and Education
Rosa Guraieb started her musical journey at a young age. She traveled to Beirut to study music at the National Conservatory. There, she learned from a teacher named Michel Cheskinoff.
Later, Rosa continued her studies in Mexico. She attended the Conservatory of Mexico, where she learned from important composers like José Pablo Moncayo and Salvador Ordones Ochoa. Her passion for music also took her to Yale University in the United States and to Bayreuth, Germany, where she further developed her skills.

Rosa Guraieb wrote many beautiful pieces of music. As a composer, she created different kinds of works, from songs to pieces for instruments.
