Rosanna Diane Davison (born 17 April 1984) is a famous Irish model, writer, and former beauty queen. She won the Miss World 2003 title. Rosanna is the daughter of the well-known musician Chris de Burgh. Her father even wrote a song called "For Rosanna" for his 1986 album, Into the Light, in her honor. Rosanna is also a trained nutritional therapist and often talks about the health benefits of eating a plant-based diet.

Becoming Miss World

In August 2003, Rosanna entered the Miss Ireland competition in Dublin. She won the title, which meant she would go on to compete for Miss World. In December 2003, Rosanna traveled to Sanya, China. There, she competed against 106 other contestants from around the world.

Rosanna won the Miss World crown, becoming the first person from Ireland to win the title since the competition began in 1951. During her time as Miss World, she traveled to many countries. These included the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, China, and Sri Lanka.

Television and Media Appearances

Rosanna has appeared on television shows and in the media. In October 2013, she began presenting segments on LFC TV. This is a special television channel for the football club Liverpool F.C..

Rosanna Davison was born in County Dublin, Ireland. She went to primary school at Aravon School in County Wicklow. After that, she attended Rathdown School in Glenageary, County Dublin. She was a class prefect and finished her leaving certificate exams in 2002.

Family Life

Rosanna has been with Wesley Quirke since 2006. They got engaged in 2013 and were married in the summer of 2014. They went on their honeymoon to the beautiful Seychelles islands. Rosanna and Wesley have three children: one daughter and twin sons.

Healthy Eating and Writing Books

Rosanna is a graduate of the College of Naturopathic Medicine. She is a qualified nutritional therapist, which means she helps people learn about healthy eating. She also earned her Master's degree in personalized nutrition from Middlesex University.

In February 2015, Rosanna signed a deal with Gill Books. Her first cookbook, Eat Yourself Beautiful, was released in August 2015. It quickly became a best-seller! This book promotes eating a plant-based diet for health. She later released another book, Eat Yourself Fit.

Rosanna has worked with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to promote the benefits of vegetarian and vegan diets. She eats a plant-based diet for both health and ethical reasons.
