Rose Bertram was born in a city called Kortrijk in Belgium. Her father is Belgian with Scottish family roots. Her mother has family from Portugal, Angola, and Senegal. Rose grew up in a town called Deinze in Belgium. When she was just 13 years old, her mother helped her sign up with a modeling agency.
Modeling Career
Rose Bertram started her modeling journey at age 16. She was discovered by the Dominique agency. She became well-known for her work with photographer Juergen Teller for Jambox. Since then, she has appeared in campaigns for popular brands. These include H&M, L'Oréal, Hunkemöller, and Primark.
When Rose was 18, she moved to the United States. There, she signed with another modeling agency called Marilyn. She was featured in photo articles for magazines like Oyster and Galore. She also modeled for several fashion houses. In 2015, Rose made history. She became the first Belgian model to be featured in the famous Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
In 2023, Rose Bertram also tried acting. She had a role in an action comedy movie called Scotoe.
Personal Life
Rose Bertram has two daughters. She had a relationship with Dutch football player Gregory van der Wiel. They lived in Paris when he played for Paris Saint-Germain. Later, they moved to Istanbul when he joined the Turkish club Fenerbahçe. Their first daughter was born in 2018 in Toronto. Their relationship ended in 2022.
