Rosewood is a small community in Wayne County, North Carolina, United States. It is not a city, but a place where people live and work together. You can find it where two roads meet: NC 581 and Rosewood Road. It is also just a short drive south of U.S. Route 70.

Rosewood has schools for all ages! There is an elementary school for younger kids, from kindergarten to 5th grade. Then, students move on to Rosewood Middle School for grades 6 to 8. Finally, Rosewood High School teaches students from 9th to 12th grade. The middle and high schools are right next to each other on Rosewood Road. The elementary school is on Charlie Braswell Road.

The people of Rosewood help each other out. They have two volunteer fire departments, called Rosewood and Oakland. This means brave volunteers help keep everyone safe from fires. Travel by Air and Bus
If you want to fly, the biggest airport nearby is Raleigh-Durham International Airport. It has flights to many places around the world. A smaller airport, Wayne Executive Jetport, is also close. This airport is mostly used for private planes. Rosewood does not have its own train station. The closest train station is in Selma. You can also travel by bus. Greyhound buses have a stop in nearby Goldsboro.

The main highway close to Rosewood is U.S. Route 70. It is just to the north of the community. Another important road is I-795. This interstate highway is about 3.5 miles east of Rosewood, in Goldsboro.
