Rosey Edeh (born August 16, 1966) is a famous Canadian television personality. She was a news anchor for Global News at Noon in Toronto. She also worked as a senior reporter for ET Canada. Rosey is the CEO of Micha Muse Media. She even directed her first film, Oliver Jones: Mind Hands Heart. Today, she is a morning co-anchor for CTV Morning Live Ottawa.

Rosey Edeh's Journey

Rosey Edeh was born in London, United Kingdom. She started her career as a weather presenter in Montreal, Quebec. She gave weather forecasts on a TV channel called CFCF. Later, she moved to the United States. There, she worked for big news networks like CNN and NBC. She was a weathercaster on NBC's Early Today and on MSNBC.

A Talented Athlete

Rosey was also a very skilled runner. Her amazing running talent earned her a special scholarship. She went to Rice University in Houston, Texas. At university, she became a world-class 400-metre hurdler. A hurdler is an athlete who runs over obstacles called hurdles.

Based on her speed in the 100-metre hurdles, she was considered one of the best athletes at Rice. She was even added to the Rice Hall of Fame. At that time, she was ranked sixth in the world for her sport. She was also named an "All America" athlete five times. This means she was one of the top university athletes in the country.

Competing for Canada

Rosey lived in Lasalle, Quebec, and represented Canada. She competed in the Olympic Games three times. These were in 1988, 1992, and 1996. The Olympics are huge international sports events.

She won a bronze medal at the 1990 Commonwealth Games. This was as part of Canada's 4 x 400 metre relay team. The Commonwealth Games are another major sports event. In 1992, she won a gold medal. This was with the 4 x 400 metre relay team at the World Cup of Track and Field in Havana, Cuba.

Rosey Edeh has a daughter named Micha Powell. In July 2016, Micha was chosen for Canada's Olympic team as an alternate. This shows that athletic talent runs in the family!
