The Roswell Recreation and Parks department helps make Roswell, Georgia, a fun place to live! It's a city department that takes care of eight awesome public parks. These parks cover more than 900 acres, which is like 680 football fields! The department also runs over 25 sports programs. You can join teams for soccer, football, basketball, baseball, and swimming. These programs are for all ages, from little kids to adults. Roswell Recreation and Parks is known as one of the best recreation programs in the whole United States. They even work with local middle and high schools, letting teams use their fields for practice.

Awesome Awards and Recognition
Roswell's Recreation and Parks department has won some cool awards! They have received a silver medal twice from the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA). This means they are recognized as a top park and recreation program. The department is also "CAPRA Accredited." This is a special award that shows they meet high standards for how they run their parks and programs. Only a few agencies in Georgia and the U.S. have this accreditation.
