A Glimpse into History
Round Valley had a short but interesting history. A post office was opened in the community in 1863. This was an important part of the settlement, helping people send and receive mail.
However, the post office did not stay open for long. It closed for a period in 1870. Then, it closed permanently just a few years later, in 1873. After this, Round Valley was no longer considered an active settlement.
