Rover is a small community in Yell County, Arkansas, in the United States. It's called an 'unincorporated community' because it doesn't have its own local government. It's also a 'census-designated place' (CDP), which means the U.S. Census Bureau counts its population separately.
You can find Rover along Arkansas Highway 28. It is about 6.5 miles (10.5 km) southwest of Plainview. Rover even has its own post office with the ZIP code 72860. In 2020, the census counted 159 people living in Rover.

School History
Before 2004, Rover was part of the Plainview-Rover School District. On July 1, 2004, this district joined with another to form the Two Rivers School District.
The new district used to have Plainview-Rover Elementary School and Plainview-Rover High School. However, these schools later closed. Two Rivers High School opened in 2010, and Two Rivers Elementary School opened in 2012.
