Chad Marshall (born November 24, 1991) is an American rapper known as Rowdy Rebel. He is part of a music group from Brooklyn called GS9. This group was started by his friend and fellow rapper, Bobby Shmurda. Rowdy Rebel is well-known for his part in Pop Smoke's song "Make It Rain" in 2020. This song became very popular, reaching the top 50 on the Billboard Hot 100 music chart.

Early Life and Nickname
Chad Marshall grew up in a part of Brooklyn, New York, called East Flatbush. People in his neighborhood often called him "rowdy" when he was a child. This nickname stuck with him and later became his stage name, Rowdy Rebel. Many members of the GS9 music group, including Bobby Shmurda, also grew up in the same area. Rowdy Rebel was featured on a remix of Bobby Shmurda's popular song, "Hot Song". Many famous artists joined this remix, including Fabolous, Jadakiss, Chris Brown, Busta Rhymes, and Yo Gotti. In June 2020, Rowdy Rebel was featured on the song "Make It Rain" by the late rapper Pop Smoke. This was his first new music in three years. The song was a big success, reaching number 51 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This was Rowdy Rebel's first song to appear on a major music chart.
After a period away, Rowdy Rebel was interviewed by Complex magazine in December 2020. He shared that he wanted to release new music right away.
