Royal Kunia is a special community in Hawaii, located on the island of Oʻahu. It's part of Honolulu County in the United States. In 2020, about 14,896 people lived there. This area is called a census-designated place (CDP), which means it's a community that the government counts for population, but it's not officially a city or town. Before, this area was known as Village Park.
Geography of Royal Kunia
Royal Kunia is found just north of a town called Waipahu. Its exact location is 21°24′18″N 158°1′54″W / 21.40500°N 158.03167°W. The community is bordered on the south by Interstate H-1, which is a major highway. To the west, you'll find Kunia Road, also known as State Route 750.
The United States Census Bureau says that Royal Kunia covers an area of about 7.8 square kilometers (3.01 square miles). All of this area is land, with no water.
