Interstate H-1 (or H-1) is a very important highway in Hawaii, United States. It is located on the island of O‘ahu. This road is used by more cars than any other interstate highway in Hawaii.
Even though it's called H-1, this highway actually runs from east to west. The "H" in its name stands for Hawaii. These special "H" highways are numbered based on when they were planned and built, not their direction. H-1 goes from Route 93 (Farrington Highway) in Kapolei to Route 72 (Kalanianaole Highway) in Kāhala. It is the westernmost interstate highway in the United States. The highway is about 27.16 miles (43.71 kilometers) long.
