Rudy Ramos is an American actor and musician. He was born on September 19, 1950. Rudy has been acting for over 50 years! He has appeared in many TV shows and movies. Some of his well-known roles were in The High Chaparral, Hunter, and Yellowstone.

Early Life and Inspiration
Rudy Ramos grew up in Lawton, Oklahoma. He has two brothers and one sister. Rudy shared that he is part Mashika, which is a group of Aztec people, and part Mexican.
When Rudy was about ten years old, his family moved closer to Fort Sill. This was a special place because Geronimo, a famous Apache leader, lived there for many years. Geronimo became Rudy's childhood hero. Later in his life, Rudy would perform in a play about Geronimo.

Rudy Ramos started his acting journey on television. His very first TV role was a small part in the show Ironside.

Rudy became well-known for his roles in several TV series:
- He played a character named Wind in The High Chaparral from 1970 to 1971.
- From 1987 to 1988, he was Reuben Garcia in the show Hunter.

In November 2020, during Native American Heritage Month, Rudy Ramos was featured in a story. This story was written by Hillary Atkin for the Television Academy Emmys. It highlighted his work and his connection to Native American heritage.
