Ruente is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the region of Cantabria, Spain. It sits in the lower part of the Cabuerniga valley. Ruente is the largest village in this area.
Discovering La Fuentona
Ruente is famous for a special natural water source called La Fuentona. This natural spring is a beautiful spot. Next to La Fuentona, you can find an old medieval bridge. There is also a modern park where you can relax and enjoy the scenery.
