Ryohei Nishiwaki (西脇 良平, Nishiwaki Ryohei, born August 1, 1979) is a former Japanese football player. He was a forward, which means he was one of the main players who tried to score goals for his team. Nishiwaki played for several clubs in Japan. He also spent some time playing football in Germany.

Ryohei Nishiwaki's Football Career
Ryohei Nishiwaki was born in Ogaki, Japan, on August 1, 1979. He began his football journey with JEF United Ichihara in 1997. Before joining the main team, he was part of their youth squad. The main team played in Japan's top league, called the J1 League. Even though he was a forward, he did not play in many games during his time there.
Playing in Germany and Later Clubs
In 2001, Ryohei moved to Germany to play for a club named Wacker Burghausen. After one year in Germany, he returned to Japan in 2002. He joined Montedio Yamagata, a team in the J2 League. The J2 League is Japan's second-highest football league. However, he still did not get much playing time.
In 2003, Ryohei moved to Shizuoka FC. This club played in the Japanese Regional Leagues. These leagues are below the J1 and J2 leagues. In 2005, he joined his local club, FC Gifu. This team also played in the Regional Leagues. Ryohei Nishiwaki stopped playing professional football at the end of the 2006 season.
