Ryuji Michiki (路木 龍次, Michiki Ryuji, born 25 August 1973) is a former professional Japanese football player. He played as a defender or midfielder. Michiki also represented the Japan national team during his career.

Ryuji Michiki: A Football Journey
Ryuji Michiki was born in Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan, on August 25, 1973. He became a well-known football player in Japan. He played for several top clubs and also represented his country on the international stage.
Playing for Clubs
After finishing high school, Ryuji Michiki started his professional football career in 1992. He joined the team Sanfrecce Hiroshima. He often played as a left side-back, which is a defensive position.
- During his time with Sanfrecce Hiroshima, the team did very well.
- They finished second in the 1995 Emperor's Cup and the 1996 Emperor's Cup. These are important football tournaments in Japan.
In 1998, Michiki moved to Yokohama Marinos. This team later became known as Yokohama F. Marinos. However, he did not get to play as much as he used to.
- He then joined Urawa Reds in 1999.
- He played for Urawa Reds until 2002.
- In 2003, he briefly moved to Vissel Kobe and then to Oita Trinita.

In July 1996, Michiki was chosen to play for the Japan U-23 national team. This team competed in the 1996 Summer Olympics. He played in every match during the tournament.
