Starting His Football Journey

Ryuta Sasaki began his football journey in high school. From 2003 to 2005, he played for Kashima Gakuen High School. After finishing high school, he joined Kashima Antlers in 2006. This was a big step for him, as Kashima Antlers is a very famous club in Japan.

Playing for Kashima Antlers

Sasaki spent most of his professional career with Kashima Antlers. He was part of a very successful team during his time there. The club won the J1 League, Japan's top football league, three years in a row. They won in 2007, 2008, and 2009. This was a huge achievement for the team and for Sasaki.
