Saša Drakulić, born on August 28, 1972, is a retired Serbian football player. He was a forward, which means he played at the front of the team to score goals. Saša became very famous in South Korea. He played there for nine seasons starting in 1995. Many people remember him as one of the best foreign players in the K League.

Saša Drakulić: A Football Journey
Saša Drakulić began his football career in 1993. He joined a well-known club called Red Star Belgrade.
Playing in Asia: South Korea and Japan
In 1995, Saša Drakulić moved to South Korea. He joined a team called Busan Daewoo Royals. In his first season, he scored eight goals. He played for the Busan Daewoo Royals until July 1998.
After that, he moved to another Korean team, Suwon Samsung Bluewings. With the Bluewings, Saša helped his team win the K-League Championship two times in a row. They won in 1998 and again in 1999.
Later, he tried playing in Japan for a team called Kashiwa Reysol. However, he did not stay there for long. He returned to Suwon in May 2000. He came back to Suwon Samsung Bluewings as part of a player exchange.
In 2001, Saša moved to yet another Korean team, Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma. He had great success there too. He helped Seongnam win three more Championship medals. They won in 2001, 2002, and 2003. After these wins, he left the K-League. He then signed with a team in Cyprus called AEK Larnaca.
Amazing Records in the K League
During his nine years in the K League, Saša Drakulić scored 104 goals. He played in 271 matches, including regular season games and League Cup games. At that time, he was the second-highest scorer in the league's history. He also holds a special record for having the most shots on goal, with 941 attempts.
Returning to Serbia
In 2005, Saša Drakulić moved back to his home country. He joined Vojvodina in the First League of Serbia and Montenegro. In 2006, he moved to a second-division team, ČSK Čelarevo. After that, in July 2006, he joined Mladost Apatin.
After a good year with Mladost, Saša returned to Vojvodina in the summer of 2007. He even played in a UEFA Cup match. His contract with Vojvodina ended in December 2007. This happened after he got a knee injury while playing in an indoor football tournament. He did not have his club's permission to play in that tournament.
