Saboor Ali Ansari (Urdu: صَبور علی) is a Pakistani actress. She was born on March 3, 1995. She is the younger sister of another actress, Sajal Aly.
Saboor started her acting journey with a family TV show called Mehmoodabad Ki Malkain in 2011. She became more well-known for her funny role in the sitcom Mr. Shamim in 2015.
She has played many supporting roles in TV series. Her first movie was a romantic comedy called Actor in Law in 2016. For this role, she was nominated for a Lux Style Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Since then, Saboor has taken on main roles in popular TV dramas. These include Mere Khudaya (2018), Gul-o-Gulzar (2019), and Fitrat (2020). She even won a Lux Style Award for Best TV Actress for her work in Fitrat. She also starred in Mushkil (2022). She received praise and a Hum Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Parizaad (2021).

Early Life and Career Beginnings
Saboor Ali was born in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Her father, Syed Ali, was a businessman, and her mother, Rahat Ali, was a housewife. She has an older sister, Sajal Aly, who is also an actress. She also has a younger brother, Ali Syed.
Saboor went to school in Rahim Yar Khan at Lahore Grammar School. She later joined a college linked to the Punjab University. However, she decided to pause her studies to focus on acting.
She began her acting career with a small part in Choti Si Kahani. In 2011, she had a supporting role in the TV drama Mehmoodabad Ki Malkain on ARY Digital. She appeared in this show with her sister, Sajal Aly.
Later, she worked with her sister again in an episode of Kitni Girhain Baqi Hain. This was a series on Hum TV. She then appeared in the romantic drama Bunty I Love You on Hum TV, alongside Saba Qamar.
Acting in Films and TV Shows
In September 2016, Saboor made her first movie appearance in Actor in Law. This film was directed by Nabeel Qureshi. She acted alongside Fahad Mustafa, Mehwish Hayat, and Om Puri. She played the role of a supportive sister to Fahad Mustafa's character. Her performance earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Lux Style Awards.
In 2018, Saboor played the main role in a TV movie called Nanu Aur Main. This movie was about the special relationship between a grandfather and his granddaughter. Critics and the public liked the movie, and Saboor was praised for her acting.
She also played important supporting roles in TV dramas like Teri Meri Kahani and Visaal. Visaal was one of the most popular Pakistani dramas in 2018.
Personal Life
In 2017, Saboor and her family went on a religious trip called Umrah. This was just a few days before her mother passed away.
Saboor moved to Karachi in 2011 to start her acting career. She moved back to Lahore in 2015. Her mother died from cancer in 2017.
Saboor married actor Ali Ansari on January 8, 2022, in Karachi. They welcomed their daughter in March 2025.
