Saboor Ali Ansari (Urdu: صَبور علی) is a talented Pakistani actress. She was born on March 3, 1995. Saboor is the younger sister of another well-known actress, Sajal Aly.
Saboor started her acting journey in 2011 with the family drama Mehmoodabad Ki Malkain. She became more widely known for her funny role in the TV show Mr. Shamim in 2015. She has played many different roles in TV shows and movies. Her first film was the romantic comedy Actor in Law in 2016. For this movie, she was nominated for a Lux Style Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Later, Saboor took on main roles in popular dramas like Mere Khudaya (2018), Gul-o-Gulzar (2019), and Fitrat (2020). She even won a Lux Style Award for Best TV Actress for her work in Fitrat. In 2021, she earned praise and a Hum Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as a tomboy in Parizaad. She also starred in Mushkil (2022).

Early Life and Acting Career
Saboor Ali was born in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Her father, Syed Ali, was a businessman, and her mother, Rahat Ali, was a housewife. She has an older sister, Sajal Aly, who is also an actress, and a younger brother, Ali Syed.
Saboor went to Lahore Grammar School for her early education. She later joined a college linked with the Punjab University. However, she decided to pause her studies to focus on her acting career.
She began her acting journey with a small part in Choti Si Kahani. In 2011, she got a supporting role in the family drama Mehmoodabad Ki Malkain on ARY Digital, where she acted alongside her sister Sajal Aly. After this, she appeared with Sajal again in an episode of Kitni Girhain Baqi Hain, an anthology series on Hum TV. She then featured in Hum TV's romantic drama Bunty I Love You, alongside Saba Qamar.
In September 2016, Saboor made her big screen debut in the film Actor in Law, directed by Nabeel Qureshi. The movie starred Fahad Mustafa, Mehwish Hayat, and Om Puri. Saboor played the role of a supportive sister to Fahad Mustafa's character. Her performance earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Lux Style Awards.
Saboor also played the main role in the TV movie Nanu Aur Main (2018). This film was about the special bond between a grandfather and his granddaughter. Critics and the audience really liked the telefilm, and Saboor was praised for her acting. She then took on second-lead roles in dramas like Teri Meri Kahani and Visaal. Visaal was one of the most popular Pakistani dramas in 2018.
Personal Life
In 2017, Saboor and her family went on Umrah, a religious pilgrimage, shortly before her mother passed away. She moved to Karachi in 2011 to start her acting career. However, she moved back to Lahore in 2015. Her mother sadly died from cancer in 2017.
Saboor married actor Ali Ansari on January 8, 2022, at the Parsi Institute in Karachi.
