Sabrina's Secret Life (in French: Le Secret de Sabrina) is an animated TV show from 2003. It was made in France and the United States. The show is based on the Archie Comics character Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. It was co-produced by DIC Entertainment Corporation and Les Studios Tex SARL. This series is a sequel to Sabrina: The Animated Series and Sabrina: Friends Forever. It first aired in the US in 2003.
About the Show
In Sabrina's Secret Life, Sabrina Spellman is 14 years old. She goes to Greendale High School. Her old friends Chloe and Gem Stone are gone. Her Uncle Quigley, Pi, and the Spooky jar have also disappeared. Sabrina's new best friend is a girl named Maritza. Sabrina still likes her friend Harvey.
Even though Sabrina is older in this series, her magic is not as strong as before. In the earlier show, she could do magic with just a wave of her hand. Now, she needs a wand to cast spells. Many of the original voice actors did not return for this series.
Main Characters
- Sabrina Spellman: She is 14 years old and a freshman in high school. Sabrina has grown up a bit since the last series. She secretly takes magic classes with Cassandra. She is still kind and has a crush on Harvey. Britt McKillip voices her.
- Salem Saberhagen: Salem is Sabrina's talking cat. He hasn't changed much and still helps Sabrina with her problems. He often gives Sabrina good advice.
- Hilda Spellman and Zelda Spellman: These are Sabrina's aunts. They are witches and help Sabrina learn to use her magic. They teach her how to use her powers wisely.
- Harvey Kinkle: Harvey is more grown-up and athletic in this series. He is also smarter but sometimes a bit silly. He still likes Sabrina. He does not know that Sabrina is a witch.
- Cassandra: She is Queen Enchantra's niece. Cassandra starts as Sabrina's rival in magic class. She becomes kinder over time. Eventually, she and Sabrina become good friends. Tifanie Christun voices Cassandra.
- Maritza: Maritza is Sabrina's new best friend. She is similar to Sabrina's old friend Chloe. Unlike Chloe, Maritza does not know Sabrina is a witch. Vanesa Tomasino voices Maritza.
- Queen Enchantra: She is the Queen of witches. In this series, she is much friendlier and nicer than before.
- Ms. Magrooney: She is Sabrina's teacher in both the human world and the magic world.
- Mr. Snipe: He is also Sabrina's teacher in both worlds, just like Ms. Magrooney.
