Sagawa Shiga F.C. (佐川急便滋賀フットボールクラブ, Sagawa Shiga Futtobōru Kurabu) was a Japanese semi-professional football club. They played in the Japan Football League. The team's home stadium was in Moriyama, a city in Shiga Prefecture.
How the Club Started
Sagawa Shiga F.C. was formed in 2007. It was created when two other football clubs joined together. These clubs were Sagawa Express Tokyo S.C. and Sagawa Express Osaka S.C. Both of these teams belonged to the Sagawa Express company.
- In 2007, the new club was first called Sagawa Express S.C.
- From 2008 onwards, it was known as Sagawa Shiga F.C.
