Saint Laura of Cordoba (Spanish: Santa Laura de Córdoba) was a brave Spanish Christian woman. She lived in Muslim Spain during the 800s. Laura was born in Córdoba.
After her husband passed away, she decided to become a nun at a place called Cuteclara. She worked hard and eventually became an abbess. An abbess is like the leader of a group of nuns.
Saint Laura was killed for her Christian faith in the year 864. She is remembered on October 19th each year. She is one of the famous Martyrs of Córdoba, who were Christians killed for their beliefs during that time.

Saint Laura is still remembered today in different ways.
Places Named After Her
- A sports stadium in Santiago, Chile, is named Estadio Santa Laura (Saint Laura Stadium).
- There is also a place called the Humberstone and Santa Laura Saltpeter Works in northern Chile. This was once a big industrial site.
