Charles Salim Stoudamire (born October 11, 1982) is a former professional basketball player from the United States. He was chosen by the Atlanta Hawks in the 2005 NBA draft.

Early Life and College Basketball
Salim Stoudamire went to Lake Oswego High School in Oregon. He graduated from there in 2001. Before that, he also attended Lincoln High School in Portland during his first year of high school.
Playing for the Arizona Wildcats
At the University of Arizona, Stoudamire played for the Wildcats team. In 2005, he helped lead his team to the Elite Eight, which is a big achievement in the NCAA Tournament. He made a famous shot with less than two seconds left to beat Oklahoma State University in the Sweet 16 round.
During his time at Arizona, Stoudamire was known for his amazing three-point shots. He made 342 three-pointers in his college career. He also ranks second in Arizona's history for the best three-point shooting percentage, hitting 45.8% of his shots from beyond the arc. Only Steve Kerr had a better percentage.
- In the 2004–05 season, Stoudamire was named an AP Second Team All-American. This means he was recognized as one of the best college players in the country.
- He also led the entire NCAA in three-point percentage during the 2004–05 season, making 50.4% of his three-point attempts.
Professional Basketball Career
Salim Stoudamire was picked by the Atlanta Hawks as the 31st player overall in the 2005 NBA draft. He played for the Hawks for three seasons.
Highlights with the Atlanta Hawks
On March 24, 2007, Stoudamire had his best game ever in the NBA. He scored 37 points, but his team, the Hawks, still lost a close game to the Portland Trail Blazers in overtime. After his time with the Hawks, he also spent some time with the San Antonio Spurs and the Milwaukee Bucks during their preseason training.
Playing in the NBA Development League
Later, Stoudamire played in the NBA Development League (now called the G-League).
- On November 1, 2010, he joined the Idaho Stampede. He left the team on December 30, 2010.
- On January 5, 2011, he was acquired by the Reno Bighorns.
- On November 1, 2013, Stoudamire was acquired by the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, but he was waived by them on November 12, 2013.
Playing in the Big3 League
In 2018, Stoudamire was drafted to the 3 Headed Monsters team. This team plays in Ice Cube's Big3 tournament, which is a professional 3-on-3 basketball league. The games were shown on Fox starting June 21, 2018, and the championship game was held on August 24, 2018.
Personal Life
Salim Stoudamire has several family members who are also professional basketball players. He is the cousin of former NBA players Damon Stoudamire and Terrence Jones. He is also related to current NBA player Grant Williams.
Diet Choices
In 2006, after the NBA season ended, Stoudamire decided to try a vegan diet. This means he chose to eat only plant-based foods and no animal products. At first, his team's staff watched his health closely, but they soon saw that his new diet was not causing him to lose weight or affect his performance.
