Samuel L. Jones III is an American actor. He was born on April 29, 1983, in Boston, Massachusetts. Sam Jones III is well-known for playing Pete Ross in the first three seasons of the Superman television series Smallville. He also played Willie Worsley in the 2006 film Glory Road. Other notable roles include Craig Shilo on Blue Mountain State and Chaz Pratt on ER.
Acting Career
Early Roles
Sam Jones III began his acting career in 1999. One of his first big roles was playing Pete Ross in the TV series Smallville. This show was about the early life of Superman. He was a main character for the first three seasons. He later returned as Pete Ross in a special episode during season 7.
Television Appearances
Besides Smallville, Jones has appeared in many other popular TV shows. These include The Practice, ER, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and 7th Heaven. In 2006, he acted alongside Raven-Symoné in the TV movie For One Night. He also played Craig Shilo in the show Blue Mountain State on Spike TV.
Film Roles
Jones has also starred in several films. In 2006, he played Willie Worsley in the movie Glory Road. He was also Billy Marsh in the 2006 film Home of the Brave. More recently, he joined the cast of the independent film All Light Will End in 2018. In 2016, he returned to his role as Craig Shilo in the movie Blue Mountain State: The Rise of Thadland, which was based on the TV series.
