Samahni (Urdu: سماہنی) is a small town in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. It is part of the Bhimber District. Samahni is also a "tehsil," which is like a local administrative area, similar to a county or sub-district.
This town is about 17.9 miles (28.8 kilometers) northeast of Bhimber. It sits in the beautiful Samahni Valley. This valley is well-known for growing many different kinds of medicinal plants. In 2017, about 144,756 people lived in Samahni.
