Sami Beigi is a popular Iranian singer and songwriter. His full name is Saman Es'hagh Beigi. He was born on November 22, 1982, in Tehran, Iran. Today, he lives in Irvine, California, in the United States.

Early Life and Music
Sami Beigi grew up in Sweden. He went to a special music school there. At this school, he learned to play many different musical instruments. He also started to write his own songs and create music. His favorite instrument to play is the guitar.
Starting His Career
Sami Beigi was once part of a band called Black Cats. This was a Persian music group. He became well-known for a song he wrote for the band. The song was called "Yeki Bood Yeki Nabood."
Becoming a Solo Artist
After two years with Black Cats, Sami Beigi decided to leave the band. He wanted to start his own music career. He became a solo singer and songwriter. He has released many successful songs on his own.
Some of his most popular songs include "In Eshghe," "Ey Joonam," and "HMG." In 2014, he released a song called "Kaghaz va Ghalam." This song was very popular. It was played over 700,000 times on the RadioJavan website in just four days!
TV Appearances and Inspiration
Sami Beigi was a special guest on a BBC Persian TV show. This show was for Nowrouz, the Persian New Year. He sang three of his popular songs: "Ey Joonam," "HMG," and "Kaghaz & Ghalam."
In an interview, he shared that it took him a long time to write "Kaghaz & Ghalam." It took about two to three years to finish the song. He also said that he started writing songs and singing when he was 15. But he never thought he would become a successful solo artist.
