Samuel Adewunmi (born in 1994) is a talented British actor. He is known for his roles in movies and TV shows. Samuel won the Most Promising Newcomer award at the British Independent Film Awards in 2019. This was for his amazing acting in the film The Last Tree. He was also nominated for Best Actor for the same film. Later, he received a nomination for a BAFTA award. This was for his role in the BBC drama You Don't Know Me in 2021. Samuel Adewunmi was born in Camden, London, England. His mother, who is from Nigeria, raised him and his brother. They grew up in an area called the Maiden Lane Estate. This is near the busy King's Cross and St Pancras stations.
Samuel first found his love for acting in primary school. He was in a school play when he was in year three. By the age of eight, he was already putting on community plays. These plays took place at the Camden People's Theatre. He later studied acting at the Identity School of Acting. This school helps young actors develop their skills.
