San Felipe is a town and a municipality (a local government area) in the Retalhuleu Department of Guatemala. In 2018, about 17,360 people lived in the town itself. San Felipe is located on the road that leads to Quetzaltenango. You can find it between El Palmar to the north-west and San Martin Zapotitlan to the south.
Where is San Felipe?
The municipality of San Felipe is at the very northern tip of the Retalhuleu Department. It shares borders with the Quetzaltenango Department to the west. To the east, it borders the Suchitepéquez Department.
Many people in San Felipe live in the countryside. Some of these rural areas include Canton Francisco Vela, Canton Tierra Colorada, and Aldea El Palmarcito.
