San Juan de Manapiare is a small town in the southern part of Venezuela. It is located in the Amazonas state. This town is the main administrative center, or shire town, for the Manapiare Municipality. In 2001, a count of people showed that the municipality had 991 residents.
History of San Juan de Manapiare
San Juan de Manapiare was started by an explorer named Don Melicio Pérez. He founded the town in the year 1940.
