San Luis is a town and a municipality located in the country of Honduras. It is part of the Santa Bárbara area. In 2013, the town of San Luis had a population of about 5,857 people.
The entire San Luis municipality is home to around 25,500 people, based on a 2020 estimate. The main way people make a living here is through coffee farming. San Luis is known for its beautiful pine-covered hills.

In 2013, a census was taken in San Luis municipality. This count showed that the total population was 24,606 people. Most of the people living there were Mestizo, making up about 79.30% of the population.
