In October 2018, Sanam confirmed that she and Abdullah had separated. Later, in August 2020, Sanam shared that she had married again. She has a daughter named Amaya.

Sanam Baloch started her career as a talk show host. She worked on the Sindhi TV channel KTN. There, she hosted shows like Sanam Small Room and Diyoo.

She then started acting in TV dramas. One of her early roles was in Kalaq. She also played Noorulain Aneez in Noorpur Ki Rani. This role earned her a nomination for Best Television Actress.
