Geography of Sand Hill
Sand Hill is located in the middle of Lebanon County. It's part of North Lebanon Township. To the south, it borders the city of Lebanon, which is the main city in the county.
Neighborhoods and Roads
The Sand Hill CDP includes a few smaller areas. These are the neighborhoods of Sand Hill, Sunset, and Reinohlsville. Pennsylvania Route 343 (also called North 7th Street) goes through the community. This road leads north about 6 miles (10 km) to Fredericksburg. It also goes south into the city of Lebanon.
Land and Water
The community covers about 2.6 square kilometers (1 square mile) of land. There is no water area within the CDP. Sand Hill is built on the side of a hill. This hill forms the northern edge of the Lebanon Valley. Small streams in the area flow south. They drain into Brandywine Creek. This creek then joins Quittapahilla Creek in the center of the valley.
