Barbara Alexandra "Sandra" Reemer (born October 17, 1950 – died June 6, 2017) was a well-known singer and television presenter from the Netherlands. She was born in Indonesia and became famous for her music and for hosting many popular TV shows. Sandra Reemer also represented the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest three times, which is a record for her country!

Sandra Reemer was born in Bandung, Indonesia, in 1950. She moved to the Netherlands and started her career in music. She quickly became a popular singer. Later, she also became a familiar face on Dutch television.
Eurovision Song Contest Appearances
Sandra Reemer is especially famous for her three times at the Eurovision Song Contest. This is a big international music competition where different countries send their best singers to perform.
1972: Sandra & Andres
In 1972, Sandra sang the song "Als het om de liefde gaat" with Dries Holten. They were a duo called "Sandra & Andres." Their performance was a success, and they finished in fourth place in the competition.
1976: Solo Performance
In 1976, Sandra returned to Eurovision, but this time she sang by herself. She performed the song "The Party's Over." She did well, reaching ninth place in the contest.
1979: As Xandra
Sandra Reemer made her third appearance in 1979. For this performance, she used the name "Xandra." She sang the song "Colorado." She finished in twelfth place that year.
Backing Vocals
Even after her three main appearances, Sandra Reemer still loved Eurovision. In 1983, she returned to the contest to sing backing vocals for another Dutch entry. The song was called "Sing Me A Song," performed by Bernadette.
Television Career
