Sandspit Park Beach & Marina is a cool spot located right on the Patchogue River in the village of Patchogue. You can find it in Suffolk County, New York, which is on Long Island.

This park is easy to get to! It's on Brightwood Street, just off Ceder Avenue. It's also super close to the Patchogue Long Island Rail Road Station. Sandspit is where you catch the ferry to fun places like Davis Park and Leja Beach/Ocean Ridge. These are awesome communities right on the Atlantic Ocean beach and bayfront.

Welcome to Sandspit Park!

Sandspit Park is a great place to visit. It offers amazing views of the Long Island Bay and the river. You can relax on shaded park benches and use the clean restrooms. There's also a big parking lot. If you live in Brookhaven, parking is free! If not, there's a small fee to park your car.

During the busy summer months, the parking lot can get full. But don't worry! Many visitors can find other parking spots on the nearby village streets.

This park and marina has lots to offer for a fun day out.

Beach Fun: There's a small beach area right on the Bay where you can relax.
Playground: Kids will love the fenced-in playground, perfect for running around and having fun.
Fishing Pier: If you enjoy fishing, there's a pier on the southeast side of the park. It's a great spot to cast a line.
Marina: The park also has a pretty large village marina. This is where boats are docked.
Dining: There's a private restaurant called "On the Waterfront" right at the corner of the Patchogue River and Brightwood Street.
Ferry Terminal: This is the main spot to catch the Davis Park Ferry. It takes you across the water to beautiful beach communities.

All parts of Sandspit Park offer awesome views of the bay. It's a favorite place for people of all ages to enjoy the scenery.
