Sandy Ridge is a small place in New Jersey, USA. It is not a separate town but part of Delaware Township in Hunterdon County. It's called an "unincorporated community" because it doesn't have its own local government.
This community sits on top of a small hill. It's located between two natural areas: the Hunterdon Plateau and the Sourland Mountains. Sandy Ridge Road is the main road that goes through the community from east to west. Another important road is County Route 605, which runs north and south.
Most of Sandy Ridge has homes, but you can also see some farms and forests. A very old church, the Sandy Ridge Church, is right in the middle of the community. It's a Baptist church that started in 1818. The building you see today was built in 1866. There's also a cemetery next to the church.
