Sant'Anna Arresi has many interesting places to visit. One of the most famous is a part of the town called Porto Pino.
Porto Pino's Amazing Beach
Porto Pino is known for its incredibly clean beach. This beach stretches for almost 2 kilometers (1.2 miles). It has huge sand dunes that can reach up to 29 meters (95 feet) high! Imagine climbing those sandy hills!
Unique Trees and Plants
The area around Porto Pino is very important for nature. It has a thick forest of Aleppo pine trees, covering about 90 hectares (222 acres). These trees are special to the Mediterranean area.
Besides the Aleppo pines, you can also find short, bushy Phoenician juniper plants. There are also some rare kermes oaks. These kermes oaks are usually found as bushes and are very rare in other parts of Sardinia.
