Sant Joan (which means Saint John) is a small town on the island of Majorca, Spain. It is located right in the middle of the island. Sant Joan is part of an area called Pla de Mallorca.
The town of Sant Joan was started a long time ago, in the year 1300. It used to be known as Sant Joan de Sineu. The towns that are next to Sant Joan are Petra, Villafranca de Bonany, Porreres, Montuïri, Lloret de Vistalegre, and Sineu.

Sports in Sant Joan
Sant Joan is home to two exciting futsal clubs. Futsal is a type of indoor soccer played on a hard court. The two clubs are called Sant Joan C.E. and Just Just Sant Joan.
Sant Joan C.E. Futsal Club
The Sant Joan C.E. club started in 2007. This team plays in the 1st Regional league of the Football Federation of the Balearic Islands. It is the most successful futsal team in the town. They have won two Balearic Futsal Cups. The senior team won in 2009, and the youth team won in 2011.
