Santa Bárbara del Zulia is a city in Zulia State, Venezuela. About 80,000 people live there. It's located southwest of Maracaibo Lake, in a part of the state called 'Sur del Lago'.

A famous Venezuelan politician named Manuel Rosales was born here on December 12, 1952. He was once a governor and even ran for president!

Santa Bárbara is connected to the city of San Carlos del Zulia by two bridges over the Escalante River. These two cities are like 'twin cities' because they are so close and connected.
