Santa Rosa de Yacuma or Santa Rosa del Yacuma (often called Santa Rosa) is a small town. It is located in the Amazon pampas region of Bolivia. This area is part of the Beni Department.

Santa Rosa de Yacuma is the main town for the Santa Rosa Municipality. This municipality is found within the José Ballivián Province. The town sits on the left side of the Yacuma River. It is about 230 kilometers (143 miles) north-west of Trinidad. Trinidad is the capital city of the Beni Department.

The closest town to Santa Rosa is Reyes, Bolivia. It takes about two hours to drive there on a rough road. Reyes is located to the south-west. Another town, Rurrenabaque, is about 100 kilometers (62 miles) to the south-west.

Lakes and Nature Around Santa Rosa

West of Santa Rosa, there is a large freshwater lake. It is 7 kilometers (4.3 miles) long and 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) wide. About 20 kilometers (12.4 miles) north-west of the town, you can find Laguna Rogagua. This lake covers a huge area of 155 square kilometers (60 square miles). Both Laguna Rogagua and the pampas (grasslands) along the Yacuma River are popular places for tourists to visit.
