Beni is a large area, like a state, in the country of Bolivia. Its main city, or capital, is Trinidad.
Most of Beni is covered by thick rainforests and wide-open grasslands called pampas. Many rivers flow through Beni, and they are home to over 400 different kinds of fish! In Trinidad, there's even a special museum called the Museo Ictícola just for fish. It's one of the biggest fish museums in South America!
Provinces of Beni
Beni is divided into 8 smaller areas called provinces. These provinces are then split into even smaller parts called municipalities and cantons.
