Sarah Field (born 23 February 1999) is an Australian rugby league player. She plays as a five-eighth, which is a key attacking position in the game.

Sarah Field's Early Life and Rugby Journey

Sarah Field was born in Belmont, New South Wales. She later moved to Emu Park in Queensland. It was there, on the beautiful Capricorn Coast, that her rugby league journey truly began.

Playing for the Emu Park Emus

Sarah started playing for the Emu Park Emus team. She competed in local rugby league games. These matches were held in the Rockhampton and Gladstone areas.

Awards and Grand Final Wins

Sarah quickly became a standout player. In 2016, she won the Women's Player of the Year Award in Rockhampton. She was also named the best and fairest player in the Gladstone District Rugby League. She earned this award in both 2016 and 2017.

In 2017, Sarah helped her Emus team win the grand final. They played against the Tannum Seagals at Marley Brown Oval. It was a big win for her team!

Playing for the Rabbitohs and Gold Stars

Success at Indigenous Rugby League Carnivals

In 2018, Sarah played for the First Nation Gems. They competed in the 2018 Festival of Indigenous Rugby League. She kicked three goals in their 18-0 win. This game was against the New Zealand Māori Ferns.

Later that year, Sarah was named Player of the Carnival. This was at the four-day Murri Rugby League Carnival in Townsville. Her Emu Park team won 18-8 in the final.

In 2019, Sarah also won Player of the Carnival. This was at a nines competition in Rockhampton. Her team won the grand final 13-6.
